TETRA POTASSIUM PYRO PHOSPHATE (INDUSTRIAL GRADE)
Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate also known as Tetrapotassium Di-phosphate is potassium phosphate which is white hygroscopic powder. TKPP is an efficient buffering and dispersing agent. TKPP has higher solubility in water and has chelating capabilities. It has a vast range of food and industrial uses. A process is provided for manufacturing tetra sodium pyrophosphate from sodium tripolyphosphate and a sodium salt capable of forming sodium carbonate on calcination. A compound capable of forming sodium carbonate is added to adjust the mol ratio to about 2, the mixture is milled and heated to from 300° C. to 700° C
